What’s Next
BIG NEWS! Sleeping Weazel has been awarded a three-year Launchpad Residency at Boston Center for the Arts, and we’ve got lots of plans for it.
On September 18th and 19th, 2026, Sleeping Weazel will proudly present Nate Puppets & Evan O’Television in Madcap Technicolor Puppet-Vision, a double bill featuring genre-defying provocateurs who bring the classic puppet show into new performance territories that merge hilarity with existential angst and offer alternatives to what a puppet is and how it can be reimagined. Combining stand-up comedy with storytelling, relentless self-critique, and different approaches to visual surprise, Nate and Evan challenge us to move with them into other planes of existence. Just the healing balm of Dada-esque madness we all need.

Meanwhile, Time & Times Again, Charlotte Meehan and Peter DiMuro’s (Public Displays of Motion) multimedia hybrid performance collaboration continues. Via the creation of projection designer Pamela Hersch and sound designer Darron L West, a video & sound installation version of the piece will take place at The Dance Complex in Cambridge on November 7th and 8th, 2026.
